Dear Minda, You have given our family such a tremendous gift: the love of music (and making music!) It was such a joy to see Scout and Emma race happily in your door every week. And both Stuart and I had such a positive experience inside your doors as well. We know you add so much to many other childrens' and adults' lives as well, and beyond that you enrich our community with your talent and generous spirit. (Jan. 28, 2003)

Jordan and I went to Borders Bookstore on Friday night to have Hot Chocolate & look at magazines. There is a piano there and some teenagers were playing. I told Jordan that he could play if he wanted to but he declined. Well after the other teenagers were showing off their STUFF, Jordan decided that he wanted to play. He got up there and played from MEMORY: Leap Frog Boogie, Swans on the Lake, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and tried to play a little of It Came Upon a Midnight clear but couldnt remember the notes. EVERYONE CLAPPED when he finished. So the rest of the evening, he continued to play around on the piano. He asked if the next time we go if he could bring his MUSIC. I said YES!! It was FUN for him. He got A LOT of compliments from various people as they fixed their coffee. You would have been so proud, I know I WAS!!
